Reflection Task 3

My candidate of the year is Steven Moffat who is a television writer and producer. The reason why ı chose him is that the undeniable fact of his intelligence in television sector. His name may not come familiar; however, You might hear his name from the Doctor Who's special episode for Christmas. He wrote the scenario and brought the production a different viewpoint. He wrote not only for Christmas episode of the Doctor Who but also all the new series of the Doctor Who. The Doctor Who is not his only production. He began his career with Press Gang which was the teen drama series. His first sitcom is Joking Apart for which the breakdown of his marriage had been an inspiration. His second sitcom is Coupling Chalk for which his experiences as an English teacher had been inspiration. Before this job, he worked as an English teacher in a high school for three years. That he was once an English teacher affected my choice. Now he is the co-creator of my favourite TV series Sherlock Holmes Which is adapted from the novel whose writer is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He is a great scenario writer and director I think. If someone deserves to be the person of the year, it is Steven Moffat. I give my all contribution to him.

Reflection Task 2

I want to talk about a video game which ı have been recently playing.It's name is Defense of the Ancients ( DOTA ).I chose this subject because ı spend my free-time by playing it and ı find it very enjoyable.This game is actually mini-map of the Warcraft 3 and it was created by İcefrog.In  this game, there are two teams whose names are Radiant and Dire and every team consists of five players.Every player picks only one hero out of almost a hundred heroes.There are three types of hero.They are classified as Strenght , Agility and İntelligent heroes which means that each heroes have different role in the game.Generally , Strenght heroes are initiator and more durable in the fights.Agility heroes are fast and key-heroes in the battles.Intelligent heroes are fragile but they can be very effective thanks to their skills which make them supports.Moreover,every heroes powers are different from each other.Every team has a monument which is placed in their own basement.The aim of the teams is demolishing this monument but there are a lot of towards protecting it,therefore ,they need to destroy them.The first team to be able to destruct it's opponent's monument wins the game.The game has no time limit.This means it can continue until one of the monuments are demolished.When it was first released Dota was not so popular.However, after the video gamers  realized how fun it is participation of the game rised.Additionally, this game improves our eye-hand coordination, feeling of the team and moving as a team.There is no way to win this game individually.I think this feature of the Dota attracts me and makes itself passionate game.

Reflection Task 1

Hi ! I am Emre.I was born in Eskişehir and lived until i entered the METU.Now i am in Ankara.However,ı could not completely attached to Ankara , ı go to Eskişehir nearly every weekend.I don't think ı have a special talent.I am an ordinary person.I had got interested in the music in my teenage years and ı was not bad.I played classic guitar and composed 3 songs with my friend.Recently, my elder brother bought me a car it is not a new model, actually it is a classic and very well-kept.I did not mean to bring it to Ankara because ı was afraid of fuel expenditure but ı have decided to get since it is hard to get well ıf you have got used a car.If you ask about my hobbies.I swim every Wednesday in Metu pool ,sometimes cycle.Riding my bike lonely and losing in the Metu forest is an indefinable feeling.I am angry with myself because ı do not read book so much.I am a little bit picky about the choosing a book to read.To conclude, there is noting interesting about me i think and that is not bad.I will share some of my photos but ı don't want to be treated like ı pop star because ı am so handsome :)
